North Park Frequently Asked Questions

What will I find when I visit North Park?

We're pretty "laid-back" around here. We know that a lot of churches say "casual and contemporary," and we're not even sure what that really means. But North Park is made up of quite a few "regular folks," and one or two we're not sure about yet. So you'll probably fit right in. For more about our worship times click here.

Who is the Pastor?

Our Senior Pastor is Schanon Caudle. Schanon is a hometown guy, who returned to Van Buren after working on the Evangelism and Church Growth Team of the Arkansas Baptist State Convention, and serving other churches in Arkansas and Louisiana. To find out more about our Ministry Staff click here.

What does North Park have for my child/teenager?

Children and Students are a big focus here at North Park. For more information about our Student ministry click here . For Children's ministry click here .

What kind of “Baptist” church is North Park and what do you believe?

North Park is an autonomous body of believers. In normal language that means no one tells us what to do. But we cooperate with other churches in the Southern Baptist Convention, the Arkansas Baptist State Convention, and the Concord Baptist Association, for missions and other endeavors.  We generally adhere to the Baptist Faith and Message as a statement of belief.
