GALS Meeting is March 3, 10:00am at the home of Jan O’Leary. 

Baptism Sunday March 7. 

Attention Youth & Parents:  Your second $60 deposit for Youth Mission Camp is due by March 15.  If you have not paid the first $60 deposit please pay it now.  Total cost per student is $175.  Scholarships are needed.  Any questions please call or email Jay Baker. 

NPMOPS meets March 11 & 18 at 9:30am.  For all of you who participated in the Pringle Jingle Fundraiser we ask that you return the Pringle Jingle cans to either Anna Nelson, Angel Byrd, or Pam Chenoweth.  MOPS Yard Sale is April 16 & 17.  Don’t throw your “stuff” away.  We need your items for this good cause! 

Graham Cracker Drive for Public School Back Pack Program sponsored by one of NP’s Community Groups.  Donations of plain honey graham crackers are needed (please check ingredients for nut allergies).  Containers are throughout the church.  Collections are now through March 28.  Any questions contact Toni Copher at 629-5545. 

Business Meeting is March 21, 5:00pm. 

JOY Group meets Tuesday, March 16, 5:30 for Potluck fellowship.  There will be a special treat at this meeting from NPKidz. You won’t want to miss it! 

Big Easter Egg Hunt, April 3.  Filled plastic eggs are needed.  Collection containers are throughout the church.

GALS Meeting is February 3, 10:00am at the home of Jan O’Leary.

 

North Park Kidz Carnival (K thru 2nd grade) Saturday, February 6, 11:00 am—2:00pm.  Food, Fun & Games in Children’s Area.

 

North Park Kidz Lock-In (3rd thru 6th grade) Friday, February 12.  Drop off begins at 6:00pm and pick up by 7:00am Saturday, February 13.

 

Starting Point Class February 21, 11:00am .  If you are interested in joining North Park please attend this class.

 

Attention Youth & Parents the initial deposit of $60 for  Mission Camp is due now.  Please see Jay Baker.

 

NPMOPS meets February 11 & 25 9:30am.

 

JOY Group meets Tuesday, February 16, 5:30 for Potluck fellowship.  That is the deadline for collecting goodies & supplies for school baskets.  Examples:  hand sanitizers, lotion candy, tissues, etc.  These items can also be dropped off in Connie’s office.

 

Have you been thinking that it would be fun to be a part of the worship team, but we already have all the musicians we need?  Well, it IS fun and we can always use talented people who want to serve and grow.  February is OPEN AUDITION       month for the worship team.  Call the office or email sbyrd@northparkbaptist.com to schedule an audition.  Ask someone on the worship team about the auditions, they really aren’t all that scary.

Starting Point Class is January 10, 11:00am.

 

Attention Youth You must sign up and have your $60 deposit turned in for Youth Mission Camp by January 13. Sign up sheet in small hallway near worship center and youth check in desk.  Any questions please call or email Jay.

 

A Heart Like His (Seeking the heart of God through a study of David)Wednesday Night Bible Study for Women beginning January 13.  We will meet and leave from church at 6pm.  Bible Study will begin at 6:15 at the home of Vicki White.  Cost of  book is $16.

 

NPMOPS meets January 14, 9:30am.

 

JOY Group meets Tuesday, January 19, 5:30 for Potluck fellowship. Joy Group is collecting goodies for school baskets.  Examples: hand sanitizers, lotion, candy, kleenex, ect. These items can be dropped off in Connie’s office.

Eleven week study by Beth Moore: Exploring the Fruit of the Spirit

Times:  Tuesdays at 9:00am (childcare provided) & 6:30pm (no childcare).

GALS Meeting is December 2, 10:00am at the home of Jan O’Leary. 

Baptism Sunday, December 6, between services in the Children’s Worship Center. 

Ladies of the Church mark your calendars for December 8, 6:30pm, for a Christmas Ornament Exchange.  The limit is $10 and you are asked to bring your favorite finger food.   

NPMOPS meets December 10.  The next meeting will be on January 14. 

NP MOPS Fundraiser:  The Pringle Jingle Pick up a Pringles can from the MOPS table in the Commons Area, fill with your loose change and return it to Anna Nelson or Candice Gardner by December 27. 

Starting Point Class is December 13, 11:00am. 

Business Meeting December  13, 5:00pm.  We will be voting on the 2010 budget.  Potluck Holiday Meal will follow, meat will be provided by the church  

JOY Group meets Tuesday, December 15, 5:30. Potluck fellowship. White elephant gift exchange….bring something from home. 

JOY Group is also going to see the Christmas Light Display at Honor Heights in Muskogee on December 18.  Meet at church at 4pm, we’ll stop to have supper and on to the see the lights! 

Lord’s Supper Service Wednesday, December 23, 6:00pm.  

Office Closed December 23 through December 25.  Office will also be closed on New Years Day.   

End of the Year Giving opportunities are through the month of December until December 31.  Anything given after that will be credited in 2010.

November 2009

 

Women’s Bible Study begins November 17, 9:00am and 6:30pm.  The study is entitled, “The Book of Luke

 (The Savior of the World)” by John MacArthur. Cost is $11.  Sign up sheet in Commons Area or call Kathy Baker at 646-7883.  The first lesson will need to be done before the first meeting.

 

NP Women Breakfast November 21, 8:00am, at

Sisters in VB then on to Holiday Market at FS Convention Center (cost is $5 to attend the holiday market).  Please RSVP to Kathy Baker at 646-7883 because a headcount is needed for breakfast.

NP Youth Bonfire at Brian Summerhill’s 7800 North Hwy 59, Saturday, November 14, 7:00pm.  There will be food  -  fire  -  fun!  Bring a flashlight.  If you need a ride be at the church by 6:30pm.

 

NP MOPS is helping Operation Christmas Child.  OCC brings joy and hope to children in desperate situations worldwide through simple, gift-filled shoeboxes and the good news of God’s love.  For more information on how to pack a shoebox visit the OCC table in the Commons Area.  Shoeboxes need to be returned on or before November 22.
